With Covid out of the picture, the business MICE <\/strong>regained height at Prague <\/strong>in 2023. The reopening of air services to the United States, Asia and the Middle East have all contributed to the good attendance at conferences and major international congresses, with the Czech capital also benefiting from the good performance of its main markets. These were Germany, the UK, the USA and the Middle East. France <\/strong>and Italy neck and neck for 4th and 5th places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, Prague has risen to fifth place in both Europe and the world for 2023 ranking <\/a>of the International Congress and Convention Association (CICA<\/a><\/strong>) on the basis of 129 international congresses<\/strong> hosted. However, this figure is still down on 2019, a record year with 138 international congresses, when the city was only ranked ninth. In addition, a series of seminars and conferences were held in the second half of 2023 in connection with the Presidency of the European Union<\/strong> held by the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
