The programme of the Spanish low-cost carrier, a subsidiary of IAG, is losing almost a dozen routes for the summer of 2024, dropping to <strong>32 destinations <\/strong>served from the<strong>Orly.<\/strong> The carrier is now a long way behind <strong>Transavia<\/strong> (more than 110 destinations) but is still ahead of <strong>easyJet<\/strong> (22 destinations).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It's a fact, <strong>With a few rare exceptions, Vueling is refocusing all its activities around the Mediterranean basin and southern Europe.<\/strong>. So this summer, for example, Hamburg and Copenhagen are out. Since 2022, and a \"peak\" of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/vueling-orly-ete-2022-20220125.html\/\"><strong>50 destinations from Orly<\/strong><\/a>Vueling has closed routes in Northern Europe. This is the case in Germany with Hamburg, Leipzig and Nuremberg. But also Billund, Copenhagen and Stockholm in Denmark and Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some iconic destinations have also disappeared in<strong> Southern Europe, such as Jerez (Cadiz), Naples, Seville or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/venise-mice-20210708.html\/\">Venice<\/a><\/strong>. On the 32 routes operated by Vueling this summer, <strong>only Dublin, London Gatwick and Heathrow <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/vueling-paris-orly-londres-heathrow-20240215.html\/\">(the big news for 2024)<\/a><strong> as well as Prague<\/strong> point out that the carrier has operated a Europe-wide network from its Orly base in the past...<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vueling continues to eliminate routes from Orly under pressure from the competition.
