The SNCTA (Syndicat National des Contr\u00f4leurs du Trafic A\u00e9rien - French National Union of Air Traffic Controllers) is calling for a strike. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greves-coute-470-000-passagers-paris-20230424.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">24-hour strike<\/a>in protest at a new version deemed to be \"unacceptable\".\u00a0<em>unacceptable<\/em>\u00a0\"A protocol is currently being negotiated with the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DGAC wishes to restructure its air navigation services to bring them into line with the rest of its European counterparts. The SNCTA believes that the DGAC has made an unacceptable U-turn. Another union, the UNSA-UTCAC, has also called a strike for the same date and is threatening to continue the action.<strong> between 1<sup>er<\/sup> and 30 June <\/strong>without launching negotiations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air travellers in France are therefore likely to face a black Thursday on 25 April. Although we will have to wait until Tuesday for a more precise estimate of the scale of the strike, it could result in 70% flights being cancelled.
