At the very top, a unique view of Paris from its future green rooftop, over its rooftops and monuments in a 360\u00b0 panorama. Down below, in its bowels, a journey back in time with a twelfth-century crypt set to host unique events. To make its debut in the capital, the upmarket Radisson Collection brand has found a prime address in the heart of Paris, at 126 rue de Rivoli, just a stone's throw from the Chatelet metro station and City Hall.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Expected to open in early 2027, this future Radisson Group hotel is part of a wider project - the complete metamorphosis of a Haussmann-style building<\/strong> - owned by Redevco, a property subsidiary of Cofra Holding like the C&A clothing chain. Until recently, the building, which has been owned by Cofra for some sixty years, housed one of the chain's shops and Redevco's offices on the upper floors. \"\u00a0This building has a real history and we have an exceptional opportunity to rework it in all its dimensions, from the basement to the top floor.<\/em>\" says Thierry Cahierre, Chairman of Redevco France. All in compliance with the CSR standards Objectives Net Zero Carbon to 2040, BREEAM RFO and In Use Excellent certification.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In addition to the future Radisson Collection, this project, known as \"BPM\" (Battements Par Minute), will feature a mix of uses, with shops on the ground floor and on the 1st floor.er<\/sup> floor, 4,000 m\u00b2 of office and coworking space<\/strong> of the 2e<\/sup> to 4e<\/sup>. The 57 rooms and suites in the hotel, which will be open from 5 May, will be bigger than the surrounding buildings.e<\/sup> All the rooms on the seventh floor, organised around an interior patio, offer breathtaking views over Paris. As do the hotel's seventh-floor restaurant and, even more so, its rooftop bar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is not Redevco's first attempt at this type of mixed-use development, which has already been seen in the historic centre of Lille with an emblematic address. \"Le 31, rue de B\u00e9thune<\/a>. \"\u00a0These are the ecosystems we want to create,<\/em> underlines Thierry Cahierre. We can see that people who come to Lille on business can do everything in the building: sleep at the Okko hotel, work at Wojo, eat at Grand Sc\u00e8ne, work out at the Fitness Park gym, why not organise a business event on the site?<\/em>\" .<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Launched in 2018, the brand now has more than 65 iconic hotels in operation and under development. These include another hotel due to open in Paris, in the La D\u00e9fense district, within the Sisters Towers. A project that is apparently still on the drawing board, even though the construction of its twin skyscrapers designed by Christian de Portzamparc was recently postponed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
