This initiative is part of the company's efforts to provide passengers with all possible information in real time about their journey, particularly in the event of unforeseen circumstances. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"_ekabin0_3-1-1 dig-Theme-vis2023 dig-Theme-vis2023--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">For a number of years now, the airline has been calling on specialist teams to write and send text messages to its passengers to provide them with information about the airline and its services. <strong>almost instantaneous information<\/strong> on a given flight, from gate changes and boarding times to details of aircraft changes, crew reorganisations and weather conditions. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"_ekabin0_3-1-1 dig-Theme-vis2023 dig-Theme-vis2023--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">To this end, the teams use<strong>generative artificial intelligence<\/strong> (IAg) to provide more travellers with real-time information in the event of flight delays due to bad weather.<\/span> <span class=\"_ekabin0_3-1-1 dig-Theme-vis2023 dig-Theme-vis2023--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">In the event of adverse weather conditions, the messages contain links to local radar maps, in real time, showing the weather data on the flight paths. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"_ekabin0_3-1-1 dig-Theme-vis2023 dig-Theme-vis2023--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">This keeps passengers informed about potential weather-related delays. They also provide a better <strong>understanding <\/strong>on the impact that weather conditions in one part of the country can have on the smooth running of air transport across the USA. <br><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"_ekabin0_3-1-1 dig-Theme-vis2023 dig-Theme-vis2023--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">In addition, passengers on all flights can view weather maps in the United app under flight status updates.
