The world's leading hotel companies are placing particular emphasis on their development in Turkey. A key market where Hilton is approaching the 100-establishment mark<\/a> and Accor 80, while Marriott has around fifty, mostly in Istanbul<\/a>. For its part, the Radisson group is making progress towards its target of 100 hotels by 2030, with the recent announcement of seven new establishments, a Park Inn recently opened in Yalova and six more to come. \"Turkey is a cornerstone<\/strong> of our global strategy<\/em>said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Development Director of Radisson Hotel Group. We're excited about expanding our footprint in cities such as \u0130zmir, Bursa, Mersin and Istanbul<\/em><\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already boasting around twenty hotels in this strategic city, the Group is set to expand further with opening at the end of the year <\/strong>Radisson Hotel Istanbul Merter. Located in this leading textile district, not far from the business district, this hotel will offer 267 rooms and suites, three meeting rooms and a ballroom, as well as an indoor swimming pool, a spa and restaurants for relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking further ahead, in the third quarter of 2026, mid-range brand Park Inn plans to set up in the heart of the city<\/strong>The Park Inn by Radisson Istanbul Caglayan has 88 rooms, a bar and restaurant, as well as two meeting rooms for small groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further from the city centre, a Radisson Individuals 'light' brand hotel is expected to open in the third quarter of 2026 in the Kagithane district, at the end of the Golden Horn<\/strong>on the European bank. The Premier Hotel Kagithane Istanbul, with its 800 m\u00b2 wellness area and indoor swimming pool, also caters for business travellers, with 78 rooms and suites and a 341 m\u00b2 ballroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the group's objectives for Istanbul, Radisson intends to increase the footprint of its Radisson Collection luxury brand, which currently has just one hotel in the city - Ankara is also one of the brand's targets - but is also looking at the introduction of its lifestyle brand Radisson RED<\/strong> in the great Turkish metropolis. In the meantime, it is in the process of making its debut in the country in Izmir, with a 175-room and suite hotel due to open at the end of 2024 in the Point Bornova district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among other projects currently underway, the upmarket Radisson Hotel brand is due to open in Mersin in September, close to Adana \u015eakirpa\u015fa airport and the Turkey's largest port<\/strong>This will be followed by Bursa in the first quarter of 2025. Finally, a little later, at the beginning of 2027, its Radisson Individuals brand will welcome a new member in the centre of the country, to the north of Konya, the Parsana Konya hotel, which will offer 165 rooms and suites, a restaurant and several meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
