The delay is just a few weeks. This is mainly due to a delay in the delivery of the engines by the American manufacturers. It is also due to the pending certification of the <\/em><strong><em>\"Volocity\" by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)<\/em>\"\u00a0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>our aim is to be the first to obtain this certification<\/p><cite>Augustin de Romanet, CEO of ADP Group<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-des-taxis-volants-d-ici-la-fin-2024\">Flying taxis by the end of 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\"\u00a0<em><strong>No model of electric flying taxi has yet been certified anywhere in the world.<\/strong>. It takes time, but our aim is to be the first to obtain this certification. And to <strong>launch flights before the reopening of Notre-Dame at the end of the year<\/strong><\/em>\" said Augustin de Romanet on France Info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ADP Group CEO's speech has also evolved somewhat. Essentially designed to <strong>fast, safe transport between vertiports<\/strong> for passengers, Augustin de Romanet insisted above all on the emergency and medical nature of these taxis. This is the case. Although point-to-point traffic is down, this is offset by a significant increase in transfer passenger flows.<\/em>\" he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADP states that <strong>240,000 passengers pass through Roissy every day<\/strong>This is equivalent to 92% of traffic before Covid.
