The terrorist organisation launched hundreds of rockets and drones into Israel early on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the Israeli army hit Lebanon with around a hundred jets to thwart a larger attack. <strong>A situation which has had consequences for civil air traffic<\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/suspension-vols-liban-israel-20240801.html\/\">Beirut and Tel Aviv airports<\/a> closed to civilian traffic for a few hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>But <strong>the situation quickly returned to normal<\/strong>- at least for the airports. In Tel Aviv, the airport reopened to traffic two hours after flights were suspended in the early hours of Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>In Beirut, the airport also suspended operations for just a few hours. According to the local daily l'Orient, the management of <strong>Middle East Airlines<\/strong>Lebanon's national airline, said yesterday that <strong>its flight schedule had not been changed.<\/strong> Flights resumed in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>However, many airlines have suspended their services. <strong>The Group<\/strong> <strong>Lufthansa <\/strong>and <strong>British Airways<\/strong> extend <strong>the suspension of their flights to Tel Aviv<\/strong> until 28 August. <strong>Air France-KLM<\/strong> has decided to do the same, suspending its flights to Tel Aviv for the time being. On Beirut, the airline has announced that its flights will at least remain cancelled until 26 August. On the other hand, <strong>all flights operated by Israeli airlines and MEA are insured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to flightradar.com, this Monday only <strong>Transavia operates flights to Lyon and Nice. <\/strong>However, the Air France frequency from Paris CDG remains cancelled.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attacks between the Israeli defence forces and Hezbollah over the weekend of 24 and 25 August led to the closure of Beirut and Tel Aviv airports for a few hours.
