If they fail to do so, the pilots of the Canadian airline may well carry out their threat by means of a strike. <strong>movement<\/strong> <strong>strike action from 17 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>The three-week cooling-off period gives the parties ample time to resolve any outstanding issues.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Air Canada's management is optimistic: \" <em>Air Canada remains committed to reaching a fair agreement with its pilots that recognizes their professionalism and contribution to the airline. <\/em>\"she said in a press release published on 27 August. \" <em>Significant progress has been made during the talks, and the three-week cooling-off period provides ample time for the parties to resolve outstanding issues. Air Canada is fully committed to successful negotiations throughout this period.<\/em> \"says the company's management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, business and leisure travellers need guarantees during these turbulent times. Air Canada has therefore revised its cancellation and exchange policy. The airline is referring to \" <em>a goodwill policy offering greater flexibility to all customers with an imminent journey<\/em> \". He added: \" <em>Effective today [August 27], customers who have purchased a ticket for travel on an Air Canada flight to be operated immediately before or after the cooling-off date of September 17, 2024, will be able to make changes to any previously purchased travel at no additional charge.<\/em> \".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air Canada could be faced with a pilots' strike in September.
