These are the findings of a study carried out by the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF)<\/strong>. This survey, carried out for the 4th year, was conducted among 400 sales staff eligible for reward trips<\/strong>72% have received such recognition for their results over the last three years. <\/p>\n\n\n

The package beach-sun<\/strong> logically dominates the ranking of experiences sought by participants, ahead of theadventure<\/strong>the mountain <\/strong>and historic destinations<\/strong>. The report by the Incentive Research Foundation also points to a strong comeback for cruises <\/strong>among the American public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trio of Hawaii, Vegas and Florida - which is the stuff of dreams for US salespeople - should be seen in the context of another point in the study. The IRF has turned its attention to Cvent <\/strong><\/a>to check which destinations are actually booked as part of an incentive operation. And we can only note a slight gap between participants' expectations and their actual destination. According to booking data provided by Cvent, the Mexico <\/strong>and Caribbean <\/strong>dominate the 2024 ranking, with 7 and 11 destinations respectively in the top 22 places. Hawaii appears at the very bottom of the ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n

The average length of an incentive trip favoured by participants is between 4 and 6 days for a domestic destination. As for international operations - Western Europe dominates the list, ahead of Central America and the Middle East - a duration of 7 to 10 days is the most popular.<\/p>\n\n\n
