{"id":181861,"date":"2024-09-23T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=181861"},"modified":"2025-06-02T11:00:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T09:00:18","slug":"jetblue-business-lounges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/jetblue-business-lounges","title":{"rendered":"Business lounges: JetBlue takes the plunge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having patiently built up an international network in line with the expectations of business customers - in particular by setting off on the transatlantic route and especially at <strong>Paris CDG <\/strong>- <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bluesky-cooperation-jetblue-united-airlines-20250602.html\/\">JetBlue <\/a><\/strong>is taking a new step forward. The New York-based airline made it official on 20 September: it will be holding lounges at two of its most attractive American hubs for business travellers. Two lounges are expected to be held at <strong>New York (JFK) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/boston-logan-terminal-e-20231025.html\/\">Boston <\/a>(Logan)<\/strong>. The first lounge will open its doors at the end of 2025 in Terminal 5 of the New York airport. The Boston show will follow in its footsteps, moving into Terminal C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/jetblue-paris-20231105.html\/\" data-id=\"159789\">JetBlue in Paris: a successful take-off!<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Asked about this possibility in the summer of 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/jetblue-paris-interview-jayne-obrien-20230630.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jayne O'Brien, JetBlue Marketing, Product and Loyalty Manager<\/a>already confided to Voyages d'Affaires: \" <em>This is part of our plans for the future. And we are in the process of building our own lounge in Terminal 5.<\/em> \". This will happen in a few months' time, and the airline will then be adding the missing brick in the highly competitive business travel arena, especially on the transatlantic route. The Chairman of JetBlue agrees: \" <em>Customers have been asking for a JetBlue lounge for years and we can't wait to unveil our lounges in New York and Boston.<\/em> \"says Marty St. George. \" <em>Lounges have become an essential offering for the growing number of customers seeking premium experiences, and JetBlue Lounges will further enhance the value of our TrueBlue loyalty program as we expand our JetBlue credit card portfolio.<\/em> \".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/jetblue-nouveaux-vols-europe-20241212.html\/\" data-id=\"187345\">JetBlue continues its conquest of Europe: two new flights on the schedule<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/jetblue-mint.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-181893\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/jetblue-mint.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/jetblue-mint-300x225-derived.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/jetblue-mint-80x60-derived.jpg 80w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/jetblue-mint-265x198-derived.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>President Marty St. George's conclusion is not an insignificant one. As usual, JetBlue intends to set itself apart from other carriers. \" <em>As airport lounges have become increasingly popular, leading to overcrowding and long queues in other airlines' lounges, access to JetBlue's lounges will be reserved first and foremost for its most loyal customers and members of its premium credit cards.<\/em> \"The company's managers state. Clearly, free access to the lounges will be available to Mint travellers on the transatlantic route, holders of a new JetBlue premium credit card, and TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members. In the latter two cases, travellers will also be able to invite a companion. In addition, all customers will be able to purchase an annual pass, and day passes will be available \"subject to availability\", according to the airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/jetblue-triple-paris-europe-20231025.html\/\" data-id=\"160217\">JetBlue triples its stake in Paris, and thinks bigger in Europe<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>What can the lucky few expect at JetBlue's two new business showcases? At New York JFK, a lounge of almost 750 m\u00b2, and over 1000 m\u00b2 in Boston. In both cases, the airline has planned a Play\/Work\/Lounge triptych to organise a space led by specially trained teams. These teams will be able to capitalise on the JetBlue touch, as Marty St. George explains: \" <em>Customers love the JetBlue experience, and that's why we're bringing the same little touches they find on board our flights into the lounges.<\/em> \".
