From 14 April, passengers travelling in Business Premier class on Eurostar trains will be offered gourmet menus created by Alain Roux, the three-starred chef at the Waterside Inn restaurant in Bray on Thames, on the outskirts of London. This gastronomic development comes ahead of the launch in May of a new service designed to optimise passengers' journeys. Business Premier passengers will be guaranteed access to a train, regardless of their initial booking. This will ensure that business travellers can catch the train that suits them best without having to worry about queues, even during peak times. Eurostar will also be launching its mobile applications for iPhone and Android users in summer 2011. These two applications will enable business and leisure travellers to book their tickets simply using their phone, and to check in more easily with the new mobile ticket system.
