{"id":184747,"date":"2024-11-07T12:31:47","date_gmt":"2024-11-07T11:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=184747"},"modified":"2024-11-08T09:15:34","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T08:15:34","slug":"sofitel-airport-dublin-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sofitel-airport-dublin-2026","title":{"rendered":"Sofitel on standby in Dublin, Greet lands in Brussels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soon, by the end of 2026, Sofitel will be offering a new airport hotel in Dublin, directly in the heart of the city. <strong>connected to terminal 2<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>the one used by Aer Lingus passengers and those of Delta, United and American Airlines, as well as Emirates and El Al\".\u00a0<em>We are delighted to be strengthening our presence <strong>in the main international hubs<\/strong> with our long-standing partner, the Arora Group, for this third Sofitel project.<\/em>\" said Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arora Hotels, both owner and manager, already owns the franchises of two Sofitels in the British Isles, London Heathrow and Gatwick, among other establishments in the portfolio of this company.<strong> familiar with airport hotels<\/strong>. These include Holiday Inns and Crowne Plazas from IHG, a Hilton Garden Inn, a Radisson Blu and a Renaissance from the Marriott group near Heathrow, a Novotel in Stansted and a Hilton in Gatwick. And the answer was yes. \"\u00a0<em>Yes, if luxury and service are on the agenda<\/em>\" Maud Bailly explained last April, giving as proof the renovation of the Sofitel at Athens airport, magnified by a design rooftop, and those to come for the London Gatwick and Heathrow airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The laying of the foundation stone for the future establishment is yet another example of this continuity. The Sofitel Dublin Airport will offer <strong>412 rooms and suites<\/strong> with a contemporary and sophisticated decor, a restaurant and a sky bar overlooking the slopes. With its privileged location for business trips, the hotel will have an executive lounge and plenty of space for meetings and events with <strong>eight flexible rooms and a ballroom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the airport handles more than 30 million passengers a year, it plans to welcome 40 million by 2030, with a <strong>third terminal in perspective<\/strong>The announcement of this new hotel strengthens its offering for business travellers. \"\u00a0<em>We are striving to improve our standards and the range of options available to passengers at Dublin Airport and a world-class hotel directly linked to Terminal 2 is great news for them.<\/em>\" said Kenny Jacobs, CEO of daa, which manages Dublin and Cork airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-highlight-box\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-greet-s-installe-pres-de-bruxelles-zaventem\">Greet sets up near Brussels Zaventem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The future Sofitel Dublin is not the only airport hotel to appear within the Accor group. Recently, its budget brand greet, with its focus on sustainability, made a name for itself.<strong> its Benelux debut <\/strong>via one of its main gateways, the Brussels Zaventem hub. Just a five-minute drive from the airport, with a 50-space car park, the hotel has 68 renovated rooms incorporating recycled elements such as mirrors and wardrobes. The same goes for the public areas, where the furniture is second-hand or made from sustainable materials. As for the bar and breakfast offer, it is based on local players and products, including beers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking further ahead, to 2027, the Accor group recently announced <strong>a new airport hotel in Perth, Australia<\/strong>A 240-room Pullman. With meeting rooms and a coworking space, as well as a rooftop bar and restaurant, the hotel is part of the airport's development plan. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qantas-paris-perth-20240715.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">directly linked to Paris by Qantas<\/a>. This will be the fourth Pullman airport in the Pacific region, after Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.<\/p>\n<\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sofitel is continuing its expansion near the hubs of the British Isles with a future hotel connected to terminal 2 at Dublin airport.
