The Lufthansa Group<\/strong> has begun to unveil its 2025 summer season. This is the first announcement concerning new destinations<\/strong>. The type of equipment and frequencies have not yet been specified.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, the confirmation of 17 new overhead lines<\/strong> through five of the Group's airlines (Lufthansa, Discover Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines and Edelweiss<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Departing from Frankfurt<\/strong>Lufthansa will launch services to Bydgoszcz (Poland), while Discover Airlines will serve \u00c5lesund (Norway).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme will be more extensive on departure from Munich<\/strong><\/a>the Lufthansa Group's second hub. Discover Airlines will offer flights to Bod\u00f8 (Norway), Calgary (Canada), Orlando (USA) and Windhoek (Namibia). Lufthansa has also announced the reintroduction of Airbus A380 services from the Bavarian capital to Boston<\/a>New York (JFK), Washington, Los Angeles and Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From its Vienna<\/strong>Austrian Airlines will be landing at Bourgas (Bulgaria), Edinburgh (UK), Harstad-Narvik (Norway) and Sylt (Germany).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there are a number of reasons for this, is the hub of Zurich <\/a>which will benefit from the largest number of new lines, 7 in all<\/strong>. Including France, a service to Montpellier with Swiss and to Calvi with Edelweiss<\/strong>. In addition to the two French routes, Swiss will be launching flights to Heringsdorf (Germany) and Ni\u0161 (Serbia), while Edelweiss will be adding Halifax (Canada), Seattle (USA) and Terceira (Azores\/Portugal) to its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will be offering more than 12,000 weekly connections to over 300 destinations<\/strong> in over 100 countries via their hubs in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we note that Lufthansa has finally launched its new First Class Allegris Suite<\/a><\/strong>. These are Bangalore - since 9 November - and Bombay - since 15 November. During the trial period, Lufthansa will equip other destinations with new aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n
