This \"temporary\" facility had been introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/chine-sans-visa-francais-20231127.html\/\">on 1 December 2023 to six test countries<\/a> (including France). The measure was then extended to a number of other countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, in the middle of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/le-monde-dans-tous-ses-eta-20241113.html\/\" data-id=\"184923\">The world in all its ETAs<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this extension of validity, <strong>China has decided to include an 'F' category for visas on arrival<\/strong>. The non-professional visit visa (F visa) is issued to travellers intending to visit China for official exchanges or study trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Chinese authorities, this more liberal visa policy is bearing fruit. In the third quarter of 2024, China welcomed 8.19 million foreign visitors, an increase of 48.8 % compared to the same period the previous year. Among these travellers,<strong> 4.89 million people entered China under the visa waiver scheme<\/strong>. This represents a year-on-year increase of 78.6%.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 30 November, French business travellers visiting China will be able to stay in the country for 30 days instead of 15. And they still do not need to apply for a
