On 21 November, the airline alliance inaugurated its very first own lounge on the Asian market. Guangzhou airport in China can now boast the first Asian lounge in the Star Alliance colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/salon-star-alliance-a-paris-cdg-20231013.html\/\" data-id=\"159887\">Luxury and sensuality for the new Star Alliance lounge at Paris CDG<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>\" <em>Lounges are an essential part of the seamless travel experience we aim to offer our member airlines' passengers.<\/em> \"says Star Alliance CEO Theo Panagiotoulias. \" <em>As a strategic hub in Asia, Guangzhou is an important gateway for our customers. It occupies an area of 750 m\u00b2, enabling it to welcome no fewer than a hundred travellers. And it's open non-stop, 24 hours a day. The lounge is open to first and business class passengers, as well as frequent flyers with Star Alliance Gold status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lounge offers a view of the airport tarmac and is bathed in natural light. The lounge is equipped with workstations for business travellers, and a 100 m\u00b2 VIP area can host private meetings on request. Baiyun Airport will continue to adhere to the \"Customer First\" service concept and continuously develop into an airline-friendly airport to offer even better service guarantees to Star Alliance and its member airlines. <\/em>\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Star Alliance's confidence in the Chinese hub is such that a second lounge is already planned in Guangzhou. The alliance plans to double its investment by installing another lounge, this time in Terminal 3.
