Within a few hours of each other, the airline made two announcements aimed at French travellers. On Tuesday, the <strong>Bordeaux<\/strong> was the focus of attention. Next May, the low-cost airline will base a new aircraft (A320), its third, to further strengthen its offer at Gironde airport. To mark the occasion, <strong>Volotea <\/strong>ticked off five new destinations linked to Bordeaux next year. Starting with a <strong>flight Bordeaux-Marseille<\/strong> which will start on 30 May. Volotea will connect the two French airports four times a week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays). Malta (30 May), Bari (31 May), Alicante (31 May) and Alghero (4 July) complete the list of new destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/transavia-volotea-ryanair-bordeaux-20241003.html\/\" data-id=\"182105\">Transavia and Volotea seize the opportunity offered by Ryanair's departure from Bordeaux<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, Volotea will offer a \"historic offer\" of <strong>1.2 million seats in Bordeaux by 2025<\/strong>. \" <em>The arrival of this new aircraft based in Bordeaux marks a significant step in Volotea's development at the airport, and we're very pleased about it!<\/em> \"says Cyrielle Cl\u00e9ment, Route Development Manager at Bordeaux Airport. \" <em>Working closely with this partner, we are working to offer destinations that meet the needs of our region. The 5 new destinations planned for 2025, bringing the number of direct routes offered to 35, are a perfect illustration of this ambition. This represents an increase of +38 % in seats compared with last year and +71 % compared with the reference year 2019.
