Mandarin Oriental Lutetia (early 2025)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is anything but a recent opening, but a major event for the Paris hotel industry with this new guest of choice in the Mandarin Oriental hotel collection. At the beginning of the year, the Asian group will take over the management of this historic establishment on the Left Bank, becoming the first luxury brand to operate on both sides of the Seine. Completely restored a few years ago under the direction of architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, this a key destination for the world of culture and the arts<\/strong>The Lutetia, with its legendary Art Deco style, will benefit from the aura of the Mandarin Oriental brand to raise its profile worldwide. In addition to its famous brasserie and its 184 rooms and suites, the Lutetia also has six meeting and event rooms, including the Cristal lounge, which can accommodate up to 350 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Champs-Elys\u00e9es and its legendary Fouquet's, the Barri\u00e8re group is moving in January to another key location in the capital, between Place Vend\u00f4me and the Tuileries Gardens, at 17 rue du Mont Thabor. The former head office of Lacoste has been transformed into a a luxurious pied-\u00e0-terre with a feminine spirit<\/strong>With its 26 rooms, suites and self-catering flats, the hotel is a tribute to the great ladies of bygone days. Designed by Daniel Jibert, this new boutique hotel has called on the best of French craftsmanship - Pierre Frey, Les Ateliers de Ricou, Declercq - to create rooms evoking Marie Curie, Simone de Beauvoir or Callas, suites in memory of Josephine Baker, Marlene Dietrich or George Sand, and the hotel's most spacious flat, which can accommodate private dinners for up to 12 people, as well as travellers in search of exclusivity. As for the restaurant, its d\u00e9cor features the colourful world of Frida Khalo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
