2025 should see an increase in the number of flights between Europe and Asia, if recent announcements by several airlines are anything to go by. Since the winter timetable, Paris-CDG <\/strong>has three weekly flights to Manila<\/a><\/strong> launched on 7 December by Air France<\/strong>. As well as two weekly frequencies ofAircalin<\/a> about Bangkok<\/strong> since 11 December. Thai Airways International<\/strong> resumed its daily service on 1 December. Brussels-Bangkok<\/strong>suspended during the Covid period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since September, Malaysia Airlines<\/a> has opened sales for its new Paris CDG route<\/strong> to Kuala Lumpur.<\/strong> The airline is planning four weekly flights from 22 March. It will precede by a few days the return of British Airways<\/strong> to Malaysia's economic capital with a daily flight. The service was initially scheduled to start on 10 November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European ambitions for Cathay Pacific and Vietnam Airlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Other flights have recently been inaugurated or are being prepared across Europe. All Nippon Airways<\/strong> has been flying to Milan since 3 December. On 31 January, it will inaugurate the cycle of new destinations between Europe and Asia with three weekly flights between Stockholm and Tokyo Haneda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless, the most dynamic airline in Europe in 2025 is Cathay Pacific<\/a><\/strong>. The Hong Kong carrier has clearly announced its ambition to have a network of 100 destinations by 2025<\/strong>. This includes the opening of flights on Brussels, Munich and Rome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian capital will be the first to benefit from Cathay's expansion strategy with the launch of a seasonal flight to Rome on 5 June. The route will operate three times weekly until 25 October. On 16 June, Cathay will launch four weekly flights to Munich. Finally, on August 3, the Hong Kong carrier will return to Brussels, offering four weekly flights to the Chinese metropolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Vietnam Airlines<\/a> <\/strong>will add its Europe's fifth most popular destination. <\/strong> On 1 July three weekly flights between Milan Malpensa and Hanoi<\/strong>. The airline has already announced that it plans to add direct flights to Ho Chi Minh City, probably in 2026. It is also studying the possibility of opening flights to Copenhagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should also be noted that SAS Scandinavian Airlines<\/a> will launch on Seoul-Incheon<\/strong> at the end of the summer. The company plans to four weekly flights<\/strong> from 12 September from its hub in Paris. Copenhagen<\/strong>. SAS's entry into Skyteam gives this route its full meaning, as it will connect to the hub of its partner Korean Air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KLM<\/strong> will inaugurate three weekly frequencies between Amsterdam and Hyderabad<\/strong> in India. For its part, Singapore Airlines decouples its Singapore-Milan-Barcelona route from 24 June to 7 September 2025<\/strong>with five non-stop flights from Barcelona and one daily flight from Milan Malpensa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the opening of the new Phnom Penh airport<\/strong> scheduled for next July is likely to mark the launch of a direct service to Europe. There is a lot of talk about of a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to the Cambodian capital<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
