Minor Hotels is upping the ante in a major way. The takeover of NH Hotels in 2018 enabled the Thai group to make a major leap forward that has continued ever since. With more than 560 hotels worldwide today - totalling 81,000 rooms - Minor is preparing to growth of over 50% in three years<\/strong>. By the end of 2027, 285 new establishments should have opened their doors, bringing the total number of rooms to almost 130,000. A long way from the giants such as Marriott, Hilton and IHG, all of which have almost a million rooms, but enough to establish the group as one of the world's major players. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This desire for power includes geographical diversification<\/strong>. Following the acquisition of the NH group, Minor Hotels' portfolio is now half concentrated in Europe. It is now moving towards a more balanced and global spread, with more than a hundred hotels expected in Asia and around sixty in the Africa-Middle East region, in addition to 40 in Australia and New Zealand, where its Oaks brand, which focuses on business and long stays, is already well represented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
