It's almost become a classic, since it seems that every year now, the first quarter is equivalent to a transport strike in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It began <strong>last Friday on public transport<\/strong> with 24-hour \"warning strikes\" in the <strong>eight L\u00e4nder<\/strong>. Public transport in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg (Stuttgart), Lower Saxony (Hanover), Berlin, Bremen, Hesse (Frankfurt), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Rostock), North Rhine-Westphalia (Cologne\/D\u00fcsseldorf) and Rhineland-Palatinate (Mainz) was affected. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/allemagne-greves-transports-20240311.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">strike<\/a> may have ceased at the start of the weekend, but the demands for negotiations remain. <strong>The union is already announcing further strikes in towns in North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/belgique-neuf-jours-greve-rails-20250221.html\/\" data-id=\"192569\">Belgium: nine days of strike action on the railways<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Airports, <strong>Monday is a black day for many passengers<\/strong>. The paralysis largely affects the airports of Cologne\/Bonn and D\u00fcsseldorf, the two main air hubs in North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one consolation for passengers, however. After very tough strikes in 2024, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greves-deutsche-bahn-20240326.html\/\">Last year, Deutsche Bahn's unions and management signed an agreement<\/a> promising no strikes until 2026...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greve-transports-grece-28-fevrier-20250225.html\/\" data-id=\"192821\">Transport strikes: it's Greece's turn<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Airports, public transport: strikes are back in the spotlight in Germany.
