Already widely used on the ground by business travellers, digital tablets have been proliferating on board aircraft in recent months. After EasyJet, which recently announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/easyjet-se-met-a-la-tablette-numerique-20110914.html\/\" data-drupal=\"node\/5984\" data-wp=\"19329\">launch of a rental service<\/a> giving access to multimedia content, it is now Qantas' turn to go digital. In a press release published on 15 September, the Australian airline claimed to be the first carrier in the world to offer its passengers streaming multimedia content. A six-week test phase is scheduled to start at the end of October, with iPad2 tablets equipped with the Q Streaming application being taken on board a Boeing 767-300, before the offer is rolled out more widely.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They've definitely become a must-have in the world of business travel.
