The opening last autumn of the luxurious Park Hyatt London River Thames<\/a> has launched a new phase of expansion for the American group in the United Kingdom. Currently operating 17 hotels under 9 separate brands, Hyatt plans to growth of 30 % <\/strong>of its portfolio in the country between 2025 and 2026. In particular, two new establishments are expected to open in the British capital. Located five minutes' walk from Paddington station, the Hyatt Place London Paddington will offer 87 rooms and suites in a contemporary setting, a restaurant and a mini-market, as well as a Library suitable for meetings and receptions for around twenty people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focused on larger professional events, the Hyatt Regency London Olympia <\/strong>is part of the redevelopment of the historic but ageing Olympia exhibition centre<\/a>dating back to the end of the 19th century. In its place, a vibrant neighbourhood is emerging, with offices, bars and restaurants, a brand new theatre and cinema, as well as two hotels, a CitizenM and the new Hyatt Regency, the brand's fifth in London. Housed in a listed Art Deco building, the establishment will have over 200 rooms and meeting spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the UK is the Group's third-largest market in the EMEA region behind Germany and Spain, this expansion is not confined to the capital, and extends to the rest of Europe. secondary metropolises<\/strong> in the country. The group set up in Leeds in March with a dual-brand complex combining two contemporary brands: Hyatt Place, with its 217 rooms, is aimed at short stays, while Hyatt House Leeds is aimed at longer stays, with fully-equipped kitchenettes in its 88 studios and suites. Located in the heart of Sovereign Square, just a stone's throw from the train station, the complex offers travellers a rooftop bar and restaurant, a 24-hour gym and shared meeting spaces, with Hyatt seeing growing demand for the MICE market in its UK hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
