Fairmont is expanding its footprint in Asia this year. The Accor group's luxury brand, which is present in several Chinese cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, but also in Seoul, Singapore, Jakarta and Manila, will be adding several key destinations on the continent<\/strong> to its list of addresses. Mumbai in particular, from next April, when the brand will set up near the international airport with a 446-room and suite hotel ideal for business trips and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing on Art Deco style and contemporary sophistication, the Fairmont Mumbai is set to establish itself as one of the world's most prestigious hotels. one of the Indian metropolis's largest reception venues<\/strong> with a grand ballroom that can accommodate more than 2,000 guests. 11 high-tech meeting rooms, a foyer with open kitchens and, to top off the MICE offer, a rooftop for outdoor cocktails. All this is complemented by five restaurants, a spa and an outdoor swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in Jaipur a decade ago, Fairmont is continuing to expand in India, building on its offer based on large-capacity hotels and vast spaces suitable for both business events and major weddings. From next July, the Fairmont Udaipur Palace<\/strong>in Rajasthan, will join its portfolio in the country. Nestling in the Aravalli hills, surrounded by lush greenery, the establishment will also be ready for major gatherings with over 12,000 m\u00b2 of event space <\/strong>and 327 luxury rooms, as well as numerous bars and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel with this development in India, Fairmont will be adding three new Asian capitals to its list of destinations, starting with Tokyo<\/strong>also in July. Overlooking the bay of the Japanese capital, the hotel occupies the southern tower of the Blue Front Shibaura project, an urban redevelopment by Nomura Real Estate and JR East on the site of a former freight marshalling yard and the former Toshiba Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located just fifteen minutes from Haneda airport and close to major rail hubs such as Tokyo and Shinagawa stations, this complex integrates flats, offices and leisure facilities in its two 230-metre towers. Within this framework, the Fairmont Tokyo will offer 217 rooms and suites with views of the city skyline and, as befits a number of bars and restaurants - some with terraces - as well as extensive meeting and reception spaces, with its Grand Ballroom advertised as one of the largest in the Japanese capital <\/strong>with a capacity of up to 1,200 guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the autumn, in November, the luxury brand is also announced in Vietnam, in Hanoi<\/strong>Just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Housed in a building designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, the establishment's contemporary d\u00e9cor blends French colonial influences with details inspired by traditional Vietnamese colours and lacquerware craftsmanship. Surprisingly, in addition to its 241 rooms, six bars and restaurant, including one on the roof, the Fairmont Hanoi is also a venue for corporate meetings, with a 1,000 m\u00b2 ballroom and nine other meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, from the end of the year, business travellers will also be able to find a Fairmont when they travel to Bangkok. Located at in the heart of the Sukhumvit business district<\/strong>The hotel will feature 419 rooms and a range of restaurants, as well as a rooftop bar and swimming pool. Certified LEED and WELL Green, the Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit will naturally offer a substantial MICE package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
