Having just acquired Ruby Hotels last February, the IHG group is capitalising on the interest in this lifestyle brand by announcing the signing of two hotels in the pipeline in major European destinations, Copenhagen and Berlin<\/strong>. The German-born brand, whose concept revolves around 'lean luxury', currently has nine hotels across the Rhine - in Cologne, D\u00fcsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart - but surprisingly had no presence in the capital until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will no longer be the case by 2028. To make its entry into Berlin, Ruby Hotels has found a prestigious location, the Kurf\u00fcrstendamm<\/strong>The Ku'damm Eck building is a prime location. This shopping and leisure complex, originally built at the end of the 1960s and replaced at the turn of the millennium by a new building with a curved fa\u00e7ade, is preparing to welcome a 375-room lifestyle hotel to replace the long-closed former Swiss\u00f4tel. After conversion, as befits any new contemporary hotel, guests will be able to enjoy a rooftop terrace at 12 o'clock.e<\/sup> floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
