For 3 days, the eyes of the business travel world were on Paris. And with good reason: ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) was holding its trade fair at the Marriott Rive Gauche, bringing together nearly a thousand participants representing the various components of the business travel industry. A record attendance for the event, marked from Monday by the presentation of the ACTE index<\/a> a new business travel indicator that opens up new horizons for professionals. In addition to Jacques Attali's keynote address, the event also featured two conferences organised in partnership with Voyages d'Affaires. The first of these, on the theme of \"Everything you always wanted to know about mobility technologies but never dared to ask\", provided an overview of the issues surrounding the role of new technologies in business travel, including developments in the sector, travellers' expectations and future trends. The very next day, another session on business travel in Asia gave attendees a better understanding of the finesse of Asian culture in all its diversity, and the factors to be taken into account, from the preparation of the trip upstream, right through to the negotiation itself. A more than promising outcome, then, for this business travel event with an American accent.<\/p>\n
