But this new hybrid venue, which opens its doors at the end of April in the XVIIe<\/sup> arrondissement<\/strong> on rue Legendre in Paris stands out in more ways than one. With its design by New York studio Roman and Williams, famous for such lifestyle hospitality references as the Standard High Line<\/a> in New York or the NoMad<\/a> in London. With its 150 m long hanging garden, which acts as a green link between the different areas. And finally, the architecture by PCA Stream, both bright and industrial, combining raw concrete and bay windows in a top-of-the-range metamorphosis of a 1970s office building and a former car park. An ex-photo studio has been added to the project, which has been redesigned as a sports club by Marika Dru (Atelier MKD) and Fr\u00e9quence Architecture.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As far as La Fondation is concerned, the new purpose of the car park is primarily professional, with its former spiral ramp serving the office floors spread over five floors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As the junction between the hotel and office areas, it gives the site its soul and contemporary dynamism. \"\u00a0We want to make it our little WOAgri<\/strong>giving galleries free rein to hang their work for a few months.<\/em>\" says Brice Errera, Chairman of the Galia Group. \"\u00a0The desire to keep it did mean a loss of space, but in return it offered a unique character.<\/em>\" says architect Philippe Chiambaretta, founder of PCA-STREAM. All is not lost, however, as the axis of the ramp has been converted into meeting rooms for tenant companies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The hotel and gym will only open in a few days' time, the offices have already been occupied since last autumn<\/strong> by the consultancy Bartle, the tech company Databricks and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in addition to the Galia Group. These residents, like the hotel's future guests, are entitled to workspaces designed by Roman and Williams, as well as services such as a coffee shop at reception, before being able to take advantage of the various restaurant, sports and relaxation areas once the hotel is open. At the same time, the Foundation will also be supporting the tenant companies. in the organisation of their events<\/strong>. \"\u00a0Our aim is to cajole them<\/em>says Brice Errera. We can offer them a pizza evening, a chic cocktail party or a private rooftop.<\/em>\" .<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While the office wing also houses an 80-seat auditorium, the Foundation can count on internal and external synergies<\/strong>. On the one hand, Bartle, Databricks and the ICC, which receives a large number of international judges for its arbitrations, have a ready-made place to house their clients and staff or to organise their conferences. On the other hand, the establishment is also turning to outside companies for host residential and non-residential seminars<\/strong>. The spaces complement and combine each other, and these business meetings can even be enhanced by team-building activities in the vast sports club, including rock climbing, yoga classes and wellness experiences.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

And yet, located not far from Pont-Cardinet station and line 14 as well as Villiers station, the hotel stands out above all as a place to relax and unwind. an elegant and practical drop-off point <\/strong>for visiting business travellers, with its 58 rooms and 3 suites, the latter of which can be connected and made private. The understated luxury designed by Roman and Williams is reflected in the modernist influences and noble, custom-made materials, alder wood in particular.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
