International Workplace Group (IWG) is not far off the 4,000 mark worldwide. In 2024, the world's largest operator of hybrid work solutions added 624 new spaces to its network, for a net growth of 475 sites. The counter at the parent company of Regus and Spaces thus stood at 3989 business centres<\/strong> at the end of last year, for a million 'rooms' - i.e. 7m\u00b2 workspaces - in 120 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This figure, achieved in the 35 years since the first Regus Avenue Louise opened in Brussels in 1989, confirms IWG's position as a major, and very major, world leader. The number of openings last year alone exceeded the entire offer of its main competitor<\/strong>, WeWork<\/a>Industrious of the US and Servcorp of Australia are distant challengers, with just over 150 sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though companies, particularly in the United States, are pushing for a \"Return to Office\", demand for hybrid working continues to accelerate, driven both by developments in office property and employee expectations. According to an IWG study, 9 out of 10 CEOs surveyed felt that the hybrid model had enabled them to substantial savings<\/strong>7 out of 10 have noticed an increase in the satisfaction of their employees, who can divide their time between working in the office, teleworking from home and working in easily accessible third-party locations on the outskirts of major cities or in smaller towns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a time when demand for traditional office space is falling, many landlords are turning to IWG to review their offering, drawing on its portfolio of 18 brands and its iconic Regus, Spaces, HQ and Signature names, among others.
