Air France has just revealed that it will be launching <strong>27 November<\/strong> next 3 weekly frequencies to Phuket.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flights are operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.<\/strong> from Paris with return flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The aircraft will be a <strong>Boeing 777-300ER with a high-density configuration with 472 seats<\/strong>. The aircraft will nevertheless offer 14 seats in Business Class and 28 seats in Premium Class.<\/p>\n<p>With this new route, Air France continues to meet the growing demand for travel to Asia.<strong> In winter 2025-2026, Air France will serve 11 destinations<\/strong> in this region: Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/vol-paris-cdg-manille-air-france-20240911.html\/\">Manila<\/a>Osaka-Kansai, Beijing, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai-Pudong, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda and Phuket.<\/p>\n<h4>Popular destination<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Phuket<\/strong> since the end of Covid <strong>a boom in air transport and tourism<\/strong>.<strong> Its airport handled 17.21 million passengers last year<\/strong>This represents an increase of almost 19% compared with 2023. This result is still 6% below the platform's 2018 record (18.22 million passengers). The airport is linked to Europe by Condor (Germany), Edelweiss (Switzerland), Finnair, Neos (Italy) and Turkish Airlines, as well as by five Gulf carriers (Emirates, Etihad, Oman Air, Qatar Airways and Saudia).<\/p>\n<p>Last year, <strong>Phuket province welcomed 9.88 million foreign visitors<\/strong>This represents an increase of 12.4% compared with 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plans to expand the platform were announced at the end of last year by the Thai government<\/strong>. The airport has a theoretical capacity of 12.5 million passengers with its two terminals. A new international terminal is now planned. Work is due to start in 2026 and be completed in 2029. The structure will have a capacity of 18 million passengers.
