Oman Air gains momentum in Europe<\/strong> as it prepares to officially join the alliance oneworld<\/a><\/strong> on 30 June. From 1 July, it will offer four flights a week between Amsterdam and Muscat. The flights will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will involve Oman Air's eleventh European destination<\/strong>. \"\u00a0Europe is our second largest market in terms of revenue, and Amsterdam is a key hub in the region for business and leisure travellers. In addition, the growing economic links with Oman make it an ideal complement to our expanding European network.<\/em>\" describes the company's CEO, Con Korfiatis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last December, the company launched flights from Rome-Fiumicino<\/strong> with four weekly flights by Boeing 737MAX. On 25 July, Oman Air will also be adding a fifth weekly frequency from Munich<\/strong>by Boeing 737MAX. And is already planning four extra flights a week from London Heathrow. <\/strong>This increase in power will strengthen its connectivity with British Airways<\/strong><\/a>its future partner in oneworld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, it should be noted that in Asia<\/strong>, Oman Air plans to resume its Muscat-Singapore route<\/strong>which was abandoned in 2017. ASEAN's financial metropolis would be served by daily service by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/strong>. The carrier has increased its capacity this summer to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Phuket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
