After the presentation of the next TGV M<\/strong><\/a> a month ago, the SNCF <\/strong>lifted the veil on the first train at Gare de Lyon on Thursday morning. Ouigo <\/a><\/strong>renovated, named \"Tango<\/strong>. Gone are the flashy pinks and blues that fit in with the world of his low-cost service launched by SNCF in 2013<\/strong>. The new interior decor now features a blue-grey for the seats and walls, and a deeper blue to make any stains less conspicuous. Like its future big brother Inoui<\/a><\/strong>the new Ouigo<\/strong> is promising not only more comfortable seats, but also free USB-C or electric sockets at all seats (compared with a \u20ac3 surcharge at present), 10% more luggage space, redesigned toilets, 16 places for hanging bicycles, not to mention a new \"Relax\" area <\/strong>in the middle of the train to stretch your legs. An effort will also be made to improve the cleanliness <\/strong>on board. The choice of more neutral colours and the improvement in on-board comfort are intended to respond to the greater diversity of customers present on board, and in particular of business travellers<\/strong> in greater numbers<\/strong>. While recharging your phone or computer will be free of charge, wifi will remain a chargeable option when you book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
