The result of the conversion of a former Mercure hotel, the establishment was added last year to the Citadines Sloterdijk Amsterdam to give the Ascott group a second address in the Dutch capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Situated between the Spiegelgracht and Reguliersgracht canals, close to the Vijzelgracht metro and tram station, the Citadines Canal Amsterdam offers a wide range of services. <strong>warm atmosphere<\/strong> inspired by the heritage of weavers' houses, with the motifs chosen by interior designer Hilary Lancaster evoking the art of weaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lounge bar, breakfast, 24-hour reception with unlimited free hot drinks, gym: business travellers will find everything they need. <strong>numerous services<\/strong> as well as meeting rooms. The 211 rooms, including 15 suites, are a minimum of 27 m\u00b2 in size, in keeping with the hotel's unique style.<strong> relaxing environment<\/strong> with works of art depicting flowering plants on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all this green in the air, it's hard to imagine this hotel not having a policy of sustainable excellence. Recognised by the Green Globe and BREEAM Excellent certifications, it relies, among other things, on electricity drawn from <strong>100% of wind energy<\/strong> and a geothermal heating\/cooling system, as well as waste management and limiting the use of single-use plastics. All of which offers guarantees to meeting organisers who are sensitive to CSR criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A combination of a new building and a facade dating in part from the early 20th century.<sup>e<\/sup> The Hyatt Regency Amsterdam has converted this former children's hospital into a meeting venue. With its own entrance, this MICE space opens onto a comfortable foyer with a contemporary decor and includes<strong> a 200 m\u00b2 ballroom<\/strong> and three rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 70 people. As in Frankfurt, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan and Venice, Minor Hotels' lifestyle brand has used the same recipe: the conversion of a hotel already owned by the Thai group, previously under the NH Hotels banner. Closed for renovations for several months, the establishment next to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum has been <strong>completely renovated<\/strong> for the occasion, starting with its public areas, then its bedrooms and, finally, the transformation of its 40 m\u00b2 meeting room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its clean lines and geometric motifs, the Avani Museum Quarter now offers <strong>designer frame <\/strong>which evokes both the different colours of the city's facades and the rectilinear nature of Piet Mondrian's works. Comfortable sofas, armchairs and a fireplace, tables at which to work or have a drink: its lobby offers a host of possibilities. A few steps above, The Pantry offers travellers a grab &amp; go restaurant service at any time of the day or night, with drinks, pizzas, salads and other snacks. At the same time, the hotel's breakfasts focus on healthy options, with a few exceptions such as the ultra-soft pofortjes (Dutch pancakes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 163 rooms and suites, all large and equipped with flat-screen TVs and Nespresso coffee machines, embody another version of this idea of a \"place to call home\". <strong>a healthy and relaxing stay<\/strong>. With yoga mats and top-of-the-range bedding in every room, Avani has made its guests' sleep a priority, as the crews of Delta, who are regulars here, can testify.
