Business travellers in Troyes will soon only have to walk a few steps to discover the latest addition to the Okko family of hotels. Opening its doors on 9 June, this fifteenth establishment is located in the heart of the city. just opposite the station<\/strong>The hotel is also just a few minutes' walk from the city centre, with its medieval streets. After Bayonne, Cannes, Grenoble and Toulon, this new development by the hotel brand in a secondary city, alongside its establishments in Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Nice and Strasbourg, is part of a vast renovation project for the area around the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the TER line linking Paris to Troyes in 1 hour 30 minutes is being modernised and electrified by 2028, the city has been working since 2017 to redesigning the passenger gateway<\/strong> with a renovated forecourt and the creation of a multimodal hub. At the same time, a new complex will renovate a number of caf\u00e9s and an independent hotel. Supported by the national Action Coeur de Ville programme, which promotes the revitalisation of medium-sized towns, this project includes shops, a senior citizens' residence and another for students, and, as far as Okko is concerned, a 106-room four-star hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
