The aircraft of Uganda's national airline, <strong>Uganda Airlines<\/strong>inaugurated a new era with this <strong>new direct air service to Europe from Entebbe International Airport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, <strong>only three European carriers linked Entebbe:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/afrique-brussels-airlines-2025-20241205.html\/\"> Brussels Airlines<\/a> from Brussels, KLM from Amsterdam and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul<\/strong>. Uganda Airlines thus becomes the first African airline to establish a link between Entebbe and Europe. London Gatwick in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"<em> It's not just an airline; it's a bridge between Uganda and one of the most important commercial, tourist and diaspora centres in the world.<\/em>said <strong>Edward Katumba Wamala, Minister of Public Works and Transport<\/strong>addressing guests at Entebbe International Airport. \" <em>For years, Ugandans in the UK have been asking: When will we have a direct flight home? Well, I'm proud to say that the wait is over.<\/em>\" he described.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new line will operate four times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday). It is a <strong>Airbus A330-800neo<\/strong>the most recent aircraft in the Uganda Airlines fleet, offering <strong>one product three classes<\/strong> (Business, Premium Economy and Economy). <strong>London thus becomes the airline's 17th destination<\/strong>. It is also its longest air route, covering a distance of 6,464 kilometres.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since 18 May, Uganda Airlines has been operating four weekly flights
