In addition to new luxury and lifestyle hotels, the Ibis family of brands remains one of Accor's growth drivers worldwide, with more than 2,500 hotels in nearly 80 countries. The momentum of the brand, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, remains strong in Europe and France, where five establishments joined the network in the first few months of 2025, including two new bis budget - La Rochelle Puilboreau and Auxerre Les Clairions - and three ibis Styles in Pantin, Villeneuve d'Ascq and Marseille, the ibis Styles Marseille Palais des Congr\u00e8s V\u00e9lodrome, ten minutes' walk from both the stadium and Parc Chanot<\/strong>. The result of the conversion of a former Kyriad, the establishment has almost 90 renovated rooms and offers a cost-effective solution for business groups, with 8 meeting rooms ranging from 10 to 83 m\u00b2, as well as a coworking space and, as is customary in Marseille, a bowling green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Same situation, but in Madrid this time<\/strong> In a few days' time, in June, the brand will complete the opening of two establishments close to the IFEMA exhibition centre and Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium. To complete the picture for business travellers, the hotel also offers easy access to Barajas Adolfo Suarez International Airport, not far away. In this context, the ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas will stand out as the brand's largest hotel on the Iberian Peninsula, with 260 rooms. In a d\u00e9cor inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the hotel will also feature a restaurant, a snack bar open 24 hours a day, a rooftop terrace and a swimming pool on the 6th floor in fine weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, the ibis budget Madrid Albasanz, located in the new MADBIT business district, will offer 99 rooms equipped with the latest technology. new design<\/strong> REBOOST, as well as a full buffet breakfast and snack bar. These projects, supported by Extendam, are not the only ones, as another hotel is due to open soon in the north of the Spanish capital, close to many company headquarters such as BBVA, the ibis Madrid Norte Las Tablas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elsewhere in Europe, the brand has other new addresses <\/strong>to offer business travellers, perfectly located for their journeys. Two twin hotels, ibis and ibis budget, have recently opened just a few minutes from terminal 1 at Berlin Brandenburg airport, united around a common lobby and offering 114 rooms each. Another new hotel in Germany is the ibis Styles Neckarsulm, with a design inspired by motor sport and the region's wine-growing history, and featuring 97 rooms and a meeting room for up to ten people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
