Frankfurt airport <\/strong>is still very saturated. A situation taken into account by Lufthansa, <\/strong>which consequently continues to strengthen its position Munich hub<\/a><\/strong>. It also offers a more pleasant infrastructure for transfer passengers.<\/p>\n

On departure from the Bavarian capital, Lufthansa is proposing the following increases in frequency: the airline will increase its weekly flights from Munich from 5 to 7. Bangalore<\/strong>5 to 6 flights a week on Denver<\/strong>4 to 5 weekly flights on Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> and 5 to 6 weekly flights on Washington<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, the company will be reducing its frequencies to Dubai<\/strong> (from 5 to 4 flights\/week) and Tokyo-Haneda<\/strong> (from 7 to 5 flights\/week). Lufthansa is also changing the operating days on routes to Charlotte <\/strong>and San Diego<\/strong> but without frequency reduction.<\/p>\n

More Allegris from Munich<\/h3>\n

Lufthansa confirms the entry into service of the Airbus A350-900 equipped with the new cabins Allegris<\/a> to almost a dozen destinations from Munich<\/strong>. The German carrier will offer a daily flight with the Allegris product to New York (John F. Kennedy and Newark), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town and Tokyo<\/strong>. Bangalore<\/strong> will also be served by the A350-900 Allegris on three weekly flights.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Lufthansa has opened its fully refurbished First Class lounge<\/strong> at the airport. Located in the heart of Terminal 2 of the Lufthansa hub, the 1000 m2 lounge features a new gastronomic area with an \u00e0 la carte restaurant, a buffet and an exclusive bar.<\/p>\n

The lounge has a number of areas, one dedicated to relaxation and rest, another to work, and another a TV area. There is also a large toilet with shower facilities. The lounge is open daily from 05:00 to 22:00.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Lufthansa plans to reduce frequencies on several routes from Frankfurt<\/strong>. These are the routes to Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Hyderabad, Cape Town, Nairobi, Seattle, Teheran and Vancouver.
