Iran and Iraq have closed their airspace. The situation is more confused in Israel. According to the Flightradar24.com website, which tracks air traffic live, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion international airport was still operating very early this morning. The site also reported the early morning take-off of a flight by Israel's national airline <strong>El Al<\/strong> to Paris CDG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the El Al site has since announced that it has suspended all its flights. <strong>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/vols-paris-tel-aviv-air-france-20250122.html\/\">Air France<\/a> reports the cancellation of its flight scheduled for this Friday morning<\/strong>. Air France is keeping its Saturday 14 flight on schedule, while<strong> Transavia<\/strong> is offering flights from Monday 16 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/suspensions-retards-vols-moyen-orient-20250624.html\/\" data-id=\"202471\">Middle East: airports open but flights suspended<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vols-suspendus-sur-israel\">Flights suspended over Israel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A number of airlines have nevertheless suspended services to the Israeli metropolis for several weeks now.<\/strong>. This is the case of <strong>Lufthansa Group<\/strong> which will no longer serve Tel Aviv, at least until 22 June. Or the <strong>low-cost easyJet<\/strong> which has suspended its flights to Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Airlines are therefore avoiding flying over Israel, Iran and Iraq early on Friday morning.<\/strong>. Flights to the Gulf States and the Far East follow. <strong>a northern route via Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan<\/strong>. <strong>To the south,<\/strong> planes fly around the area, passing <strong>by Egypt and Saudi Arabia<\/strong>. The Reuters news agency reported that Iraq had closed its airspace and suspended all traffic at its airports early on Friday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reroutage-des-avions-au-dessus-du-moyen-orient\">Aircraft rerouting over the Middle East<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Again according to Reuters, <strong>eastern Iraq, close to the border with Iran, is home to one of the busiest air corridors in the world<\/strong>There are dozens of flights between Europe and the Gulf, and many routes between Asia and Europe. <strong>Several flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi had to be cancelled.<\/strong>in particular <strong>from former Soviet republics such as Georgia and Azerbaijan<\/strong>. These countries find themselves virtually isolated from the Middle East because of the ban on overflying Iran, Iraq and, in part, Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company<strong> flydubai<\/strong> also indicated that it had temporarily suspended its flights to Amman, Beirut and Damascus in addition to its frequencies to Iraq and Iran.
