The Accor group will soon be adding a new brand in Egypt. The lifestyle brand 25Hours, which is part of the lifestyle hotel joint venture Ennismore, will make its debut in Cairo in a few years' time, in a new business complex <\/strong>in the immediate vicinity of the Mall of Egypt. Developed by Dubai-based specialist Majid Al Futtaim, this flagship shopping centre will see the development of a business park comprising 13 office towers, expected within five years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in West Cairo, the Junction complex will also have a leisure dimension with around fifteen places to eat and around forty shopping options<\/strong>. Majid Al Futtaim will invest 15 billion Egyptian pounds (over 260 million euros) in the project, which aims to achieve LEED Gold sustainable certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lifestyle brand 25Hours will provide the accommodation, with a hotel of approximately 250 keys<\/strong>The new 25hours Heimat is a mix of classic rooms and private residences. While the establishment will have a relaxing dimension, with three restaurants and a spa, it is primarily intended for business travellers, with a wide range of facilities.coworking spaces and meeting and event rooms<\/strong>. \" In this project, we're not just developing office space, we're building an integrated ecosystem that fosters innovation, attracts visionary talent and sets a new benchmark for mixed-use business destinations in the region.<\/em>\u00a0\"said Ahmed El Shamy, Managing Director of Majid Al Futtaim Properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All roads lead to Cairo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0This new project underlines the attractiveness of the Egyptian capital for the Accor group, as it does for the country as a whole, with almost 40 hotels open and around twenty more in the pipeline. At the beginning of the year, the French hotel operator opened a its largest Sofitel in the world<\/strong>the Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile<\/a>With 615 rooms and suites and over 2,000 m\u00b2 of MICE space, a very luxurious Sofitel Legend is expected to open in 2027 in the immediate vicinity of the Great Egyptian Museum, next to the Pyramids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0The following year, in 2028, the M\u00f6venpick brand, which already has 16 establishments across the country, including the M\u00f6venpick Cairo Media City among the latest, will add a new address in the west of the capital<\/strong>. The continuing expansion of new towns in Greater Cairo, such as Sheikh Zayed and 6-October - where the Mall of Egypt and the future 25Hours are located - is opening up new development opportunities. And it is close to these two that the M\u00f6venpick Cairo West will open. Featuring 220 rooms and suites, the hotel will also have two restaurants, two swimming pools, a 500 m\u00b2 ballroom and four meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
