The eagerly awaited World Airline Awards 2025 were presented at the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget. Created by Skytrax<\/a> <\/strong>in 1999, these awards s<\/strong>The Skytrax Awards are a kind of \"cream pie\" that rewards most of the major airlines every year. Over the years, the organiser Skytrax has increased the number of categories. This means that virtually every major airline in the world can be rewarded and satisfied.. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

So it's hardly surprising that there's an award for \"Best airline for families\", given to Lufthansa this year. Or that the best airline Australia\/Pacific <\/strong>was awarded to the Australian Qantas. <\/strong>Which, however, was not awarded the title of \"Best Regional Airline in Australia\/Pacific\", a title won by its competitor. Virgin Australia. <\/strong>Understand who can. In total, Skytrax has awarded around a hundred prizes to airlines...<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Qatar Airways, best airline in the world<\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Qatar Airways<\/strong> once again won the vote by being crowned \"Best of the Best\".\u00a0Best airline in the world \"<\/strong> for the ninth time<\/strong>. This prompted the CEO of Qatar Airways to say\u00a0 Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer. <\/strong>\" Being named World's Best Airline for the ninth time is an extraordinary honour. It reflects the passion, precision and commitment that drive us. It's a testament to our constant efforts, from frontline staff to behind-the-scenes services. We are also very proud to have been named best airline in the Middle East, best business class in the world and best business class lounge<\/strong>. These awards confirm our ambition to redefine excellence in aviation. <\/em>\".<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific<\/strong> came second and third respectively<\/strong>. The top 10 best airlines 2025 in the world include only two European carriers: Turkish Airlines, ranked sixth, and Air France, ranked eighth<\/strong>. Five other carriers from the Old Continent rank in the top 20 : Swiss, British Airways, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic and Iberia<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What's more, Air France<\/strong> was named best company in Western Europe, with the title of best European company going to Turkish Airlines<\/strong>. But the French airline can pride itself on offering the \"best first class comfort\" and the \"best meals in the lounge\" at Paris CDG.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In a nutshell, we discover thatAir Transat (Canada) <\/strong>is the world's best leisure airline for the 3rd year running and AirAsia<\/strong> the best low-cost in the world. Eurowings<\/strong> was named Europe's best low-cost airline. While Starlux Airlines<\/strong> (Taiwan) enters the Skytrax ranking, becoming a \"5-star\" company.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In North America, Air Canada<\/strong> won the award for Best Airline in this part of the world, while its Toronto airport lounge won the award for Best Business Class Lounge Catering. However, Air Canada lost out on the prize for best staff in North America (which does not actually make it the best airline in the region). This award went to Delta Air Lines<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
