Week by week, the UK hub's managers and their private partners fine-tune the project, and above all the size of the investment. On 11 July, the sum of <strong>10 billion pounds<\/strong> (11.5 billion euros) has been made official by the airport management. 100 % of this investment will be financed by private funds. It will run from 2027 to 2031. Eventually, the London Heathrow hub will be able to handle <strong>10 million additional passengers <\/strong>per year, representing an increase in capacity of 12 %.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\">\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/heathrow-milliards-hub-londonien-20241219.html\/\" data-id=\"187815\">Heathrow: 2.8...<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vapo-content\" style=\"display:none\">\r\n<p><strong>Heathrow <\/strong>is preparing to enter a new era, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/aeroports-londres-futur-20250210.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in the same way as other London airports<\/a>. Week by week, the UK hub's managers and their private partners fine-tune the project, and above all the size of the investment. On 11 July, the sum of <strong>10 billion pounds<\/strong> (11.5 billion euros) has been made official by the airport management. 100 % of this investment will be financed by private funds. On the agenda: a smoother passenger journey, a revamped shopping offer and new lounges.
