Admittedly, passenger traffic continues to increase. <strong>Over the first six months of 2025, this figure stood at 51,347,180 passengers, an increase of 4.5%.<\/strong>. <strong>Growth mainly driven by Orly airport<\/strong>. Passenger numbers rose by 5% to 16.75 million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, things are a little slower at CDG. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/connect-france-air-france-groupe-adp-20250623.html\/\"><strong>The Air France hub<\/strong> <\/a>posted an increase of 4.3% to 34.6 million passengers. More worrying is the fact that Roissy is still lagging behind 2019, the last year before Covid. <strong>Traffic in the first half of 2025 is still 4.8% below the same period in 2019<\/strong>. Orly, on the other hand, has exactly the same figure... but in positive territory!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another area of concern: <strong>growth slows in June<\/strong>. With 9.69 million passengers at the two airports, growth was 4.1%. However, CDG stalled with growth of 2.6%. This represents 6.43 million passengers, 7 points down on June 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This mediocre growth is mainly due to <strong>geopolitical turbulence in the Middle East, which weighed on intercontinental traffic<\/strong>. In June,<strong> traffic to the Middle East fell by 3.5%<\/strong>. At the same time, the slowdown towards North America continues. Passenger numbers in June did rise by 1.9%, but this was the smallest increase of all the intercontinental markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, national traffic rose unexpectedly by 2.8% in June, returning to 72.7% of the 2019 level. <strong>Over the first half of the year, domestic traffic nevertheless fell by 1.4%<\/strong>.
