The Reuters press agency reported that during a conference call on financial results held on August 6, the company indicated that it was preparing an offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\" <em><strong>We are preparing a firm offer very shortly<\/strong>. However, we are not at that stage yet. As soon as we have the approval of the Board of Directors, we will announce it publicly.<\/em> \"said a company executive, according to Reuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main interest in the Spanish company lies in the<strong> complementarity of its network with that of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-turkish-airlines-20240922.html\/\">Turkish Airlines<\/a><\/strong>. The Turkish carrier would benefit from a carrier with a very strong presence on the Iberian Peninsula, with 14 destinations in Spain and Portugal. But above all with a dense network in Latin America. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-europa-fin-compagnies-secondaires-20191105.html\/\">Air Europa<\/a> lands in 14 countries, linking Madrid to 20 destinations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the most recent destinations in Latin America, <strong>Guayaquil and Quito in <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-niels-olsen-ministre-equateur-20220923.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ecuador<\/strong> <\/a>benefit from three weekly frequencies each departing from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/madrid-azca-castellana-20171204.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Madrid<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start of the week,<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/livraison-bagages-lufthansa-airportr-20250224.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Lufthansa<\/strong> <\/a>had announced that it was abandoning its plan to buy a stake in Air Europa. The German airline thus followed <strong>Air France-KLM<\/strong>.
