While the Iberia subsidiary continues to expand from its base in Toulouse, with the opening of a new route to Lille, its presence in France is about to increase. On Friday 28 October, Vueling announced the forthcoming opening of new routes from Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg and Brest. Five flights a week will be operated between Lyon and Barcelona (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) and two others to Palma de Mallorca (Wednesdays and Saturdays). Marseille will also be linked to the Catalan capital, with four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, offering 45,360 seats, as will Strasbourg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
