This was to enable the Franco-Dutch carrier to play a real home game, by offering its passengers an enhanced experience in Paris. Nearly two months later, one of Connect France's targeted areas of work has become clearer with the arrival of a <strong>\"short connection pass<\/strong>which has now been deployed for three weeks in the Paris region hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-quote\"><blockquote><p>The Short Connection Pass, which is simple for passengers and effective in operational terms, is a concrete step forward in improving the experience of our passengers.<\/p><cite>Regis Lacote, Director of Paris-Charles de Gaulle<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\" <em>One month after the signing of Connect France, this system fully illustrates our joint desire, with Air France-KLM, to make passenger journeys more fluid and to make Paris-Charles de Gaulle an ever more efficient and attractive hub.<\/em>&nbsp;\"says Regis Lacote, Director of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. \"&nbsp;<em>The Short Connection Pass, which is simple for passengers and effective in operational terms, is a concrete step forward in improving the experience of our passengers.<\/em> \".<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/adp-connexion.jpg\" alt=\"Short connection pass\" class=\"wp-image-205297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/adp-connexion.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/adp-connexion-300x200-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The arrival of the Short Connection Pass is accompanied by new signage<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/connect-france-air-france-groupe-adp-20250623.html\/\" data-id=\"202401\">Air France-ADP: \"Connect France\" makes the CDG hub more attractive<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As its name suggests, this <strong>Short Connection Pass<\/strong> is a system that prioritises passengers in transit through Paris according to the time they have to make their connection. In practical terms, a pass will be issued to eligible passengers, giving them access to a dedicated route, identified by new multilingual signage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To take advantage of this \"short connection pass\", passengers have nothing to do. All they have to do is present the pass which is sent to them by email and SMS (and soon by notification in the Air France mobile application and via a message <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-groupe-whatsapp-20230124.html\/\"><strong>Whatsapp<\/strong><\/a>), sent no later than the arrival of the feeder flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. It must also, of course, meet the criteria set by the airline and the airport. The latter have obviously set up a calculation system that automatically determines whether a given passenger journey requires an accelerated journey. This is based on the estimated journey time through the airport, the duration of security checks and border police formalities, as well as the updated departure time of the next flight.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/short-connexion-pass-paris.jpg\" alt=\"Short connection pass\" class=\"wp-image-205307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/short-connexion-pass-paris.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/short-connexion-pass-paris-300x169-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Short connection pass<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To illustrate the profile of an eligible traveller, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/air-france-klm-2eme-trimestre-20250731.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Air France KLM<\/a><\/strong> gives the example of a 45-minute connection between Toulouse and New York, arriving at terminal 2F and departing from terminal 2E Hall K. If the connection time falls below this threshold, the \"short connection pass\" priority treatment will be automatically triggered. This system, the first concrete embodiment of Connect France, is based on the exchange of information in real time between Air France, the ADP Group and its service provider. In the same vein, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/paris-2024-adp-paf-20230404.html\/\">In the run-up to the Olympic Games, the ADP Group worked closely with the border police to optimise queuing.<\/a>and quantify their evolution.
