Between January and June 2025, 37.2 million passengers travelled through the Royal Schiphol Group's three airports.<\/strong> (Amsterdam-Schiphol, Eindhoven and Rotterdam<\/a>-The Hague)<\/strong>. This represents an increase of 3 % compared with the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amsterdam continues to grow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Amsterdam-Schiphol hub tops the list. The airport welcomed 32.8 million passengers<\/strong>of which 23.3 million on European routes and 9.5 million intercontinental. With 299 direct destinations, including 123 intercontinental destinations<\/strong>Amsterdam maintains its position as Europe's second best-connected airport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities believe that the second half of the year should confirm the positive trend in traffic. Schiphol<\/a> increased its passenger traffic by 4% in July, and should reach 70 million passengers before the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest change, however, concerns the reduction of noise emissions. Since April, Schiphol has been applying a new system of charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
