These include a major expansion of the airline's services to Thailand. <strong>China<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The carrier currently flies to <strong>Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Kunming and Guangzhou<\/strong>with 42 weekly flights. From winter 2025-2026, the airline will be doubling its number of flights. <strong>frequencies to Beijing and Guangzhou<\/strong>. These will increase from 7 to 14 flights a week. Thai will also be relaunching its services to <strong>Xiamen, Chongqing and Changsha<\/strong>which it served before Covid. The company will also be inaugurating <strong>new routes to Wuhan and Shenzhen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This expansion should double capacity in China<\/strong>. As well as point-to-point traffic,<strong> revitalise the airline's Bangkok hub<\/strong>. Thai hopes to reposition itself as a transfer airline between Europe and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This strategy aims to <strong>maintain passenger numbers in the low season, optimise the use of airport slots and diversify risks<\/strong>. \" <em>We want to consolidate our position as a regional hub, linking Asia and beyond<\/em> \"said Chai Eamsiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-en-attendant-de-nouveaux-avions\">Waiting for new aircraft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thai Airways is also planning to open a route to<strong> Gaya, India. <\/strong>The airline also plans to strengthen its domestic services with the arrival of new aircraft. The current fleet comprises 78 aircraft, including 58 wide-body jets. An Airbus A321neo will join the fleet this month, followed by another A321neo and a Boeing 787-9 by the end of the year. These aircraft will be assigned to routes to China and India in late 2025 or early 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fifteen more A321neo will be delivered from next year onwards<\/strong>. While waiting for his <strong>new Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/strong> - which is not due to be delivered until<strong>from 2028<\/strong>the Thai carrier will be leasing 8 to 10 wide-body aircraft. At the same time, <strong>Cabin refurbishments are planned for the A320, Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350.<\/strong> to harmonise the in-flight experience. By 2033, Thai Airways International should have 150 aircraft, including 64 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thai Airways International has announced a major
