On Wednesday, three unions met to call a strike on 18 September: CGT-Cheminots, UNSA-Ferroviaire and CFDT-Cheminots. In a press release, the CFDT-Cheminots warns: \" <em>We need to take strong action to change the policy of austerity and additional efforts on the part of those who work. <strong>September 18 must be an opportunity to impose our demands<\/strong> to protect all those who work and produce<\/em> \". The CFDT-Cheminots press release also states: \"\u00a0<em>We are planning a <strong>new meeting of trade unions<\/strong> representative rail unions before 18 September to continue building a massive mobilisation movement<\/em>\" .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/londres-greve-metro-tube-20250908.html\/\" data-id=\"207039\">London Underground: \"please mind the strike\"...<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"598\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/unsa-ferroviaire.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-206797\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/unsa-ferroviaire.jpg 598w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/unsa-ferroviaire-300x233-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Press release from UNSA Ferroviaire<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Travelling by <strong>metro<\/strong> should also be affected by the strike on 18 September. The UNSA Mobilit\u00e9 union has indicated that it will be taking part in the joint union action. <strong>RATP<\/strong> (CGT, FO, UNSA, CFE-CGC) for a <strong>massive mobilisation of staff on 18 september<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>Following the call from the national inter-union group, UNSA MOBILIT\u00c9 is asking staff to join the strike on 18 September 2025 to demonstrate their anger and their opposition.\u00a0<\/em>\"says the press release. \"\u00a0<em>Mobilisation must be strong and must not stop overnight without a clear contract of trust between our governments and employees on the preservation and improvement of wages, working conditions and living conditions.<\/em>\u00a0\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/france-greve-controleurs-aeriens-20250829.html\/\" data-id=\"206255\">France: air traffic controllers on strike?<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>This call for mobilisation in the rail and public transport sectors comes just a few days after the one launched by the <strong>National Union of Air Traffic Controllers (SNCTA)<\/strong>also targeting the <strong>18 September<\/strong>. Since then, several trade unions have followed suit at <strong>Air France<\/strong>The CGT in particular is calling for strikes on 18 September... as well as on 10 September. The disruption caused by the <strong>Bloquons tout\" movement on 10 September<\/strong> also promise to affect travel in France.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greve-10-septembre-previsions-ratp-20250908.html\/\" data-id=\"207101\">Strike on 10 September: RATP forecasts<\/a><\/p><\/aside>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Calls for strike action are multiplying for 18 September.
