Philippe Tabarot held a press briefing to discuss the possible disruption caused by the strike on 18 September. The day will therefore not be \"\u00a0<em>black<\/em>\" as the resigning Minister for Transport had put it in the context of current affairs management.<em>but there's a lot going on at the moment<\/em>\"But it will be complicated for public transport users and regional train journeys. But it will be complicated for public transport users and regional train commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Paris, the impact of the <strong>strike on 18 september<\/strong> is becoming clearer for business travellers. The <strong>RATP<\/strong> has just published its details, and provides for a <strong>traffic disruption<\/strong> on its entire network. Only lines 1, 4 and 14 should operate normally on Thursday. Traffic will be disrupted on lines 7, 9, 10 and 13, but only during rush hour. All other lines will experience major disruption, with traffic operating only during rush hour, according to RATP. In addition, <strong>Ten metro stations will be closed all day on 18 September: Bastille, Concorde, Arts et M\u00e9tiers, Villiers, Op\u00e9ra, R\u00e9publique, Trocad\u00e9ro, S\u00e8vres-Babylone, Invalides and Place de Clichy.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/strike-2-october-disruptions\/\" data-id=\"208609\">Strike: disruption expected on 2 October<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"582\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ratp-18-septembre.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-208073\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ratp-18-septembre.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ratp-18-septembre-300x269-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>RATP forecasts for 18 September<\/em> <em>(updated on 17\/09 at 16:45)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>With regard to <strong>RER<\/strong>traffic will be disrupted on lines A and B, with - as on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greve-du-10-septembre-effet-limite-20250909.html\/\">10 September<\/a><\/strong> - a <strong>interconnection maintained at Gare du Nord<\/strong>. On RER A, 3 trains out of 4 are expected at peak times, and 2 trains out of 3 at off-peak times. On RER B, traffic will be limited to 1 in 2 trains throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>bus<\/strong>Traffic will be disrupted, with potential line closures. RATP expects the network to operate at 70%. In the <strong>tramway<\/strong>With the exception of lines 5 and 7, where most of the disruption is expected to occur, traffic will be normal or close to normal, with 3 out of 4 T5 trams and one out of 2 T7 trams expected to operate.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <strong>SNCF<\/strong>If <strong>Transilien <\/strong>should be normal on line J, there will be disruption on lines K, L and V and on RER line C, and major disruption on lines H, N, R and U, as well as on RER lines D and E. For <strong>TER<\/strong>The situation will vary from region to region, with SNCF expecting 3 TER out of 5 overall. More detailed forecasts are expected later on Tuesday or tomorrow Wednesday. Greater disruption than on 10 September is also expected on the <strong>InterCit\u00e9s<\/strong>With a forecast of 1 train in 2. Possible acts of malice on the network or in stations, like last week, which are difficult to anticipate, could also disrupt the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand <strong>TGV <\/strong>should be close to normal, with a forecast of <strong>9 out of 10 trains<\/strong>. \" <em>Although some disruption is to be expected, all the Inoui TGVs in France and to Europe, the Ouigo and Lyria TGVs will be running.<\/em> \"Philippe Tabarot pointed out that with traffic at 90%, customers would be able to find a replacement TGV if their train was cancelled. \"\u00a0<em>All TGV INOUI customers in France or to Europe, TGV Lyria, OUIGO and Intercit\u00e9s can cancel or exchange their ticket free of charge.<\/em>\" says SNCF.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic should also be close to normal in the French skies, with the majority controllers' union having decided to postpone its notice until October. \"<em>This will mean that flights in France will operate almost normally, with delays no doubt to be expected in the south of France, as well as difficulties at Basel Mulhouse airport. But all scheduled flights will be maintained.<\/em>\"The ADP group also confirmed that there would be no major difficulties at Paris airports.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The disruption caused by the strike on 18 September is becoming clearer: the RATP is forecasting disruption to traffic throughout the network, while the SNCF is predicting difficulties in the regions.
