SNCF has announced the forthcoming launch of the 3e<\/sup> edition of the Grands Prix de l'Ecomobilit\u00e9, a competition launched by the company in 2022 to reward companies and travel agencies committed to more eco-responsible travel. Entries will be accepted from 16 October 2025 until January 2026. The awards ceremony will take place in Paris in June 2026, with a slight innovation this year: the introduction of a Public Prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven projects will be honoured at the 2026 event, including the Ecomobilit\u00e9 Entreprise awards, with two categories depending on the size of the company, the Ecomobilit\u00e9 Agences de voyages awards, again with two trophies depending on whether they are business or leisure companies, the Coup de Coeur award (business and travel agencies) and the new Prix du Public. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Laurent-Miel, the SNCF's Director of Distribution, hopes that many business and leisure companies and travel agencies will once again apply for the Grands Prix de l'Ecomobilit\u00e9. The SNCF and Entreprises du Voyage, the federation of French travel agencies, will be actively publicising the operation when it is launched in mid-October. Some fifty candidates were in the running for the previous edition in 2024, competing for six prizes at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A look back at the 2025 winners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Organised by the SNCF, the jury for this competition honours companies that promote the use of rail in their eco-responsible mobility policies for employees and customers. In the category for less than 2,000 employees, C-Ways won the ecomobility prize by choosing to travel by train rather than by plane or car. On a more original note, the company grants extra days' holiday to employees who choose to travel by train. C-Ways also provides ecomobility training for its new employees, who are required to sign a CSR charter. Similarly, in the category for more than 2,000 employees, CGI France was rewarded for its obligation to use the train for journeys of less than 4 hours and for reimbursing 100% for the SNCF Carte Libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
