The Hilton Group is expanding its lifestyle offering with a new brand collection called Outset.  Literally 'the beginning'. But Outset is only the latest addition to the Group's offensive in the contemporary hotel sector and its soft brands, which are designed to attract independent hotels looking to benefit from the Group's distribution strength while tapping into its 200 million members. \"\u00a0<em>Independent hotels gain success by preserving their unique character while benefiting from the power of a global hotel leader<\/em>\u00a0\"said Chris Silcock, president of Hilton's global brands. In return, the group and its customers will benefit from a new range of boutique hotels with character.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This 25<sup>e<\/sup> This new brand for the American group joins the other Curio and Tapestry by Hilton collections, and stands out for its mid-range 'plus' or even top-of-the-range positioning, and for the diversity of the type of establishments it plans to host. According to Hilton, some sixty establishments are in the process of being affiliated, and it already sees a potential of 500 establishments in the United States and Canada alone, ranging from old
